Senior Technical Artist

At Boxi, I was responsible with supporting both a new VR Project using Unreal, and helping finish a mobile game built in Unity. Later, I was also asked to give both artistic and technical feedback to our outsourcers. Some of responsibilities included:

Environments and props

  • Rig creation in Maya.
  • Animation and animation blueprints.
  • Physics assets and destructibles.
  • Quick turnaround environment “block-outs”.

Scripting

  • VR arm IK rigging.
  • Blueprint scripting for interactive objects.
  • Blueprint scripting for general game-play.

Other

  • Highly optimized VFX for mobile devices.
  • General cleanup and optimization of geometry, rigs, and animations.
  • Trailers and promo creation using After Effects.
