At Boxi, I was responsible with supporting both a new VR Project using Unreal, and helping finish a mobile game built in Unity. Later, I was also asked to give both artistic and technical feedback to our outsourcers. Some of responsibilities included:
Environments and props
- Rig creation in Maya.
- Animation and animation blueprints.
- Physics assets and destructibles.
- Quick turnaround environment “block-outs”.
Scripting
- VR arm IK rigging.
- Blueprint scripting for interactive objects.
- Blueprint scripting for general game-play.
Other
- Highly optimized VFX for mobile devices.
- General cleanup and optimization of geometry, rigs, and animations.
- Trailers and promo creation using After Effects.
